So it’s been a gazillion years since I’ve posted on the blog, sorry about that. I’ve been busy hugging Barley (my big gorgeous Rhodesian Ridgeback who lives in the UK with my also delightful parents). Now I’m back, I’ve just organised a screening of Cowspiracy, which is about the destructive animal agriculture industry and is amazing and you should watch it. Also, we went away for the weekend to the below crash pad, which clearly is a must have inclusion for the Harri Travels ‘Crash Pad’ blog section. The owners will no doubt be thrilled about this rapid rise to fame.
It’s a new place, about 1.5-2 hours drive from Nairobi (the first 1.5 hours takes you to the edge of the Ngong Hills and then you turn left down a dirt track for 12 kms which is a bit slow). It sleeps six in three rooms each with a double bed, and has incredible views down onto the Great Rift Valley. Makes for a brilliant weekend getaway.
You can find out more about Olohoro Onyore house here and book. For full appreciation, here are the photos by my wonderfully talented (and perfectly tiny) friend Rachel Clara Reed. Check out her website here.

Amazing sunset plus half naked Scottish man. Best place ever.
